Same thing, Only different

Here I sit doing exactly the same thing that I was doing last week about 6000 miles away. This time it's indoors with the A/C blowing and still everyone knows me. A brightly colored Cow Egret checking the shrubs for his breakfast. The coffee differs a bit and so does breakfast ...A big Belgian waffle with blueberries and ice cream. I will need to be careful or the 15 pounds I lost will be found.

It is 08:00 and I have been up for 5 hours. Jetlag. Another load of laundry, makes three so far, guess I was even dirtier than I thought. Called the car insurance company and got the second car covered. Now the toy is legal. Prospective visitors want to Google 2004 Ford Thunderbird...Silver. The road system isn't good enough for the car, but they are wide enough. Please note that here in the US the only place you walk, is to your car. Just a subtle difference. Everything is big...people too. Next the cleaner to leave off shirts. Then find a watch for my grandson and a beard trimmer for me...220 in Rome did my old one in.

Florida doesn't vary much, for the weather to the daily mundane tasks. Folks come here for the warm climate, but it looks more like an "Elephants' graveyard" to me. Average age 102...hyperbole there. Politics just like Rome, they stink!
Education a problem here, just like Rome. Living conditions differ, as do styles of life. I detest the place. I thought I hated it, but hatred and love while being polar opposites both need some degree of concern and care...I have neither, so detest works well.

After some thought I am leaving that in for all to see. Damn the torpedos...
