It was 20 years ago today...

Grace and I stood on our front porch in front of family, friends and the entire neighborhood. We exchanged vows and from then were one. We celebrated her birthday with our marriage. Today would have been our 20th anniversary, not a large number, but it was a second chance for both of us and it worked well. 

Instead of the porch where we were married, I am writing from the spot that became the home of our hearts. To Grace's surprise, she fell in love with Rome. To every one's surprise, so did I.

Some things improve with age-love, marriage e Roma!

I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Now I will just sit back and let the evening go...         

20 anni fa oggi, 
Grace ed io, eravamo in veranda di fronte avevamo la nostra famiglia,gli amici, e l'intero vicinato. ci scambiammo le promesse, e d'allora diventammo un tutt'uno. 
 Celebrammo il suo compleanno senza matrimoio. 
Oggi sarebbe stato il nostro 20mo anniversario, non moltissimo ma era la nostra seconda chance, per entrambi. Funzionava alla meraviglia. 
oggi, invece del portico dove ci sposammo, sto scrivendo dal posto che divenne la casamadre dei nostri cuori. Con grande sorpresa di Grace, lei s'innamoro' di Roma, e con grande sorpresa di tutti, cosi' feci anch'io, m'innamorai di Roma. 
Le cose migliorano col tempo, con l'eta' , con l'amore e con il matrimonio ed infine con Roma. 
lo faro' di nuovo in un batter di cuore ma ora tornero' a sedermi di nuovo nel nostro posto e lasciare che la serata arrivi e passi con il suo lento passo, il passo di Roma.
