Ringling Museum

One hundred years ago one of the most unusual couples managed to meet and marry. Their story, history and romance can be found easily on the web. Therefore I won't go into that....but, you should.

John Ringling was the youngest of five brothers that afflicted with an obsession early in life. The circus. Their's was a remarkably successful obsession as they managed to build the single largest circus in the this country from scratch.

John and Mabel had another goal to achieve. They both came from "hard-scrabble" backgrounds and wanted not only to assume the veneer of the successful but to be respected for their knowledge, acumen and fortitude.

This museum in the middle of nowhere is their legacy.
