The wall of art is done. Complete. Photos posted. But I still have open spots on other walls, empty frames, no mats and a shortage of correctly sized glass.
Even more difficult for me to comprehend, I can not find a poster/print store. On-line,yes. Real...not so much. I truly regret walking away from that sale on the Corso! Too bad! So sad!
So I search. Nothing new in that, it is something I have done for years. The object of the hunt varies. Sometimes it only a word search or a google quest. Baseball stats. Record albums. Books. Art. Frames...as I said this isn't a new thing. I prefer the physical search because it brings the social aspect into play. New places, new people, perhaps new friends.
Time and many miles have allowed me several different collections, most sold or given away. The point was usually the search and the social aspect. So what now? What new search?
A good conversation? I like it!
This is my on line "Collector's Cabinet". It is non-profit and haphazard at best. I leave it to you to sort through and make sense of.The views are mine. The collection reflects some of my interests. But the material must be credited to the vast internet. Otherwise, I never would have been able to amass such a treasure trove. The purpose of this exercise is entertainment, naturally mine, but even more so yours. So, please let me know if anything strikes a chord with you.
