Avro Lancaster...Dambusters

Back around 1961 or 2, I saw an old WW2 movie entitled "Dambusters." It was what we now call a docu-drama. A fictionalized re-enactment of an actual event. The idea was that a flight of bombers would fly a sortie over Germany and drop these newly devised bombs into the water above several dams. The bombs would bounce their way to target, explode and a great deluge would ensue...here are some photos.
