'Twas the night before Christmas...

This is a "pictified" presentation of my walk from the apartment to the "Centro historica". Topical, seasonal with a smidge of irony...naturally.

My apartment is not in the same location as all of our previous visits. This time I am on the "other side of the river", trastevere. The river, for Americans only, is the Tevere (Tiber) and "tras" would indicate "across", thus, across the Tevere. This is another extremely old section (Rione), but, then again they all are extremely old. Like Boston the roads seem to follow the paths of least resistance. If the cow wants to go this way, so be it! We'll just cover the patties with cobblestones.

Snow is rumored for Christmas. Since I'll be riding out of town I don't know if truly want a "White Christmas."
